England’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, now a Real Madrid player, described joining the club as a “dream come true” and a “huge duty.” The 26-year-old right-back addressed the audience at his presentation Thursday in Spanish, marking his official welcome to the team.
Alexander-Arnold’s transfer to the 15-time European champions was expedited when Real Madrid paid Liverpool a fee to release him before his contract’s end on June 30. This allows him to participate in this month’s Club World Cup.
