TriHealth to Acquire Clinton Memorial Hospital in Ohio
Cincinnati’s TriHealth, a major healthcare provider, has reached an agreement to acquire Clinton Memorial Hospital, a 140-bed facility located in Wilmington, Ohio.The deal, which is subject to regulatory approvals and standard closing conditions, will make Clinton Memorial the sixth acute care hospital within the TriHealth network.the acquisition of Clinton Memorial Hospital aims to improve healthcare access and coordination for residents of Clinton County.
Mark Clement, president and CEO of TriHealth, stated the acquisition is an exciting step that will enable closer collaboration with local physicians. This collaboration aims to extend TriHealth’s nationally recognized service lines,innovative population health care models,and specialists to Clinton County.
Tom Daskalakis, CEO of Clinton Memorial, said that becoming part of trihealth will allow them to continue their legacy while providing seamless access to care for their patients and community.
TriHealth already has a presence in Clinton County through its TPP wilmington primary care practice,which includes nine providers.Since 2022, trihealth has also provided obstetrics and lactation services at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
