Trithipnipa Thippaphada reverses gender transition to masculine look

Trithipnipa Thippaphada, who won Miss Trans World Thailand in 2019, reversed her gender transition after six years of living as a woman, deciding instead to return to a maskulin appearance. Wolipop reported that the former beauty queen concluded she felt much more comfortable wearing men’s clothing, keeping her hair short, and presenting a physical appearance associated with men.

The Career and Rise of Trithipnipa Thippaphada

Born in 1989 to a low-income family, Trithipnipa began working at 16 years old as a dancer in nightclubs and bars to help pay off family debts and save for gender confirmation surgery, according to Wolipop. By 2013, at 24 years old, she underwent surgery to live as a woman. The following year, she entered the Miss Tiffany Universe Thailand pageant, capturing the first runner-up position through her feminine presentation.

Popularity peaked for Trithipnipa in 2019 when she secured the crown at the Miss Trans World Thailand contest. This victory established her as a prominent figure within the transgender community in Thailand. Yet, just a year after taking home the crown, she surprised supporters by announcing her intention to undergo procedures to revert to a masculine look.

Current Work in the Thai Entertainment Industry

Today, Trithipnipa remains active in the Thai entertainment scene under the stage name ARM, as noted by Vietnamese media outlet Kenh14 in reports carried by both Wolipop and Demokratis.co.id. She continues working as a model utilizing a gender-fluid style, alongside jobs as a dancer and content creator.

Personal Life and Past Marriage

Regarding her personal life, ARM married a man named Chairat Vee Jailek in 2014. When she initiated the transition back to a masculine presentation, her partner was reportedly shocked and struggled to accept the unexpected change. Wolipop and Suaragarut.id noted that it remains unconfirmed whether ARM and Chairat Vee Jailek are still together.
