Hurricane Humberto: Current ​status and Forecast

As of September 29, 2025, ⁢Hurricane ​Humberto ​continues‌ to churn in the Sargasso Sea, north of the Caribbean. ⁢The storm maintained Category 4 ⁤strength ‍on Sunday, September 28, 2025, ⁢with ⁤sustained winds​ reaching up to 130 mph, according to‌ the ⁤ national Hurricane Centre (NHC). Humberto briefly ⁤reached Category 5 status on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with 160 mph sustained winds before weakening ‍slightly.

The NHC forecasts ​that ‍Humberto will remain offshore and track west ⁤of bermuda. while a direct ​hit on Bermuda is not currently predicted, the islands ⁢are expected ​to experience significant swells and ⁣perilous surf conditions. Sharp Autumn Cold Grips Eastern Europe

A significant temperature drop is expected across‌ eastern Europe later this week, bringing ⁢a sharp ⁤taste of⁣ autumn.
