A pickup truck is partially suspended over the side of Interstate 93 northbound in Boston after a crash early Thursday, February 5, 2026. The incident occurred near the Zakim Bridge, according to multiple reports.
Video and images from the scene show the black vehicle dangling precariously over the highway. The truck reportedly crashed into the barrier of the overpass, leaving its front right tire suspended in the air.
The crash happened just before the exit to Sullivan Square, according to one witness. Despite the dangerous position of the vehicle, traffic is still flowing on the southbound side of the highway, and the Orange Line is operating as usual. The most significant traffic disruptions are occurring on the northbound side of I-93.
Authorities have responded to the scene, and tow trucks are present. As of 8:33 AM EST on February 5, 2026, it remains unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
