Center leadership confirmed that the Kennedy Center Honors and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor will take place at alternative off-site locations during the closure. Additionally, the National Symphony Orchestra announced plans to split its upcoming performance season across six separate venues located in and around Washington, D.C.
