Trump Criticizes Super bowl 2026 Performers
U.S. President Donald Trump publicly disapproved of the musical lineup for Super Bowl 2026, voicing his opinion during a recent interview in the Oval Office. Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show, adn Green Day will perform during the opening ceremony at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8 – both choices Trump criticized.
“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump said, according to the New York Post.
Green Day has been critical of the Trump administration for nearly a decade. Their opposition dates back to the 2016 American Music Awards, when they protested against Trump during a performance of “Bang Bang.”
The Super Bowl will be held on February 8, 2026.
