Trump Epstein Letter WSJ – Fake News Fallout
Trump Denies Alleged “Obscene” Birthday Letter to Jeffrey Epstein,Vows to sue wall Street Journal
New York,NY – Donald Trump has vehemently denied the authenticity of an alleged “obscene” birthday letter attributed to him for the 50th birthday of the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The Wall Street Journal reported the existence of a leather-bound album containing letters from various friends, including one purportedly from Trump, which featured a drawing of a naked woman with suggestive details and a typewritten message.
The letter, as described by the Journal, includes a drawing framed by the shape of a naked woman, with small arches indicating breasts. Trump’s signature is reportedly a “sinuous ‘Donald'” written to evoke pubic hair. The message concludes with, “Happy birthday and may every day be another splendid secret.” Inside the drawing, a typewritten ticket simulates a conversation between Trump and Epstein, written in the third person, discussing life’s deeper meanings and shared “puzzles.”
The album, compiled in 2003 by Ghislaine Maxwell, who was later sentenced to 20 years for her role in epstein’s sex trafficking of minors, reportedly includes contributions from figures such as billionaire Leslie Wexner and lawyer Alan Dershowitz. According to sources who have seen the documents, they have been examined by Department of Justice officials investigating Epstein and Maxwell. It remains unclear if these specific pages are part of any recent Trump governance reviews. The existence of the album and the content of the birthday letters had not been previously disclosed.
In response to the journal’s report,Trump took to his Truth Social platform to announce his intention to sue The Wall Street Journal, its publisher News Corp, and owner Rupert Murdoch. He labeled the newspaper a “disgusting and filthy newsagent” and accused them of publishing “defamatory lies” out of desperation to remain relevant.
Trump asserted that he had directly warned Mr. Murdoch that the alleged letter was a “fake” and that legal action woudl follow if it were published. He further stated that the Journal’s director, Emma Tucker, was directly informed by White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt and by Trump himself that the letter was fabricated, but that Tucker “did not want to hear it.”
“President Trump will sue The Wall Street Journal, Newscorp and Mr. Murdoch shortly,” the statement continued, emphasizing the need for the press to be honest and rely on credible sources. Trump drew parallels to past legal victories against media outlets like George Stephanopoulos/ABC and 60 Minutes/CBS, expressing his eagerness to confront The Wall Street Journal.
He also suggested that if any truth existed regarding the Epstein matter, it would have been revealed years ago by political figures like James Comey, John Brennan, Hillary Clinton, and others, rather than remaining in an archive until his election victories. Trump reiterated his unsubstantiated claims of a stolen 2020 election in his statement.Reserved reproduction © Copyright Ansa
