Trump Eyes Gaza Ceasefire Amid Rising Casualties

President Donald Trump believes a Gaza ceasefire, potentially involving the release of Israeli hostages, coudl be imminent. Trump said Sunday he anticipates “good news from Hamas” and hopes to “stop the fights” in Gaza soon.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Civil Protection reported that at least 25 people died and over 60 were wounded in an Israeli army bombing of a school in Gaza City. The targeted institute was identified as ‘Fahmi Aljarjaoui’ in the Aldaraj district.
Separately, 19 people were reportedly killed in an Israeli strike on a family home in Jabalia, northern gaza Strip, according to Civil Protection spokesman Mahmud Bassal. He told AFP that rescue teams recovered “19 martyrs of the massacre of the Abd Rabbo family.”
The Israeli army stated that the Gaza school housed “high-level terrorists” operating within a Hamas and Islamic Jihad command center.According to a press release, the IDF and ISA (Shin bet) targeted terrorists who were allegedly planning attacks against israeli civilians and troops from the location.
