President Donald Trump has directed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to broaden its immigration enforcement efforts in major cities, including Los angeles, Chicago, and New York.The order came after weeks of anti-ICE protests across the contry, some of which turned violent.

In a Truth Social post, Trump asserted that ICE officers have shown “unbelievable strength, determination, and courage” in their mission to carry out what he called “the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History.” He added that these officers face violence and harassment from “Radical Democrat Politicians,” but that this would not deter the administration from fulfilling its mandate.
The president stated his administration is committed to ensuring that American cities, schools, and communities are safe from “Illegal alien Crime, Conflict, and Chaos.” He saeid he has directed his administration to dedicate every possible resource to reverse the tide of mass migration, turning “once Idyllic Towns into scenes of Third World Dystopia.”
Trump promised to prioritize the removal of criminal illegal aliens but has faced criticism for allegedly separating families and targeting non-criminal workers.
