Trump Lawsuit WSJ Murdoch Epstein Letter
Trump Denies Authoring Raunchy Epstein-Related Letter as Controversy Swirls
New York, NY – July 18, 2025 – Former President Donald Trump has vehemently denied authoring a sexually explicit letter allegedly sent to Jeffrey Epstein, a claim that has ignited a fresh wave of controversy surrounding the late financier and his alleged associates. The alleged letter, reportedly discovered among Epstein’s possessions and detailed by The Wall Street Journal, features a drawing of a naked woman with Trump’s signature positioned to mimic pubic hair.
Trump, speaking to The Wall Street Journal, dismissed the letter as “fake” and “not me,” stating, ”I don’t draw pictures of women. It’s not my language. It’s not my words.”
The controversy comes as Trump has publicly called for the release of grand jury testimony transcripts in the Epstein case, a request made to Attorney General Pam Bondi. Epstein, who died by suicide in a New York prison in 2019 while facing federal sex trafficking charges, allegedly groomed young and underage women for sexual abuse by wealthy contacts. He had previously pleaded guilty to felony prostitution-related charges in Florida.
‘Another Splendid Secret’
The alleged letter, described as “raunchy” by The Journal, contains typewritten text within an outline of a naked woman drawn with a marker. The publication reported that the signature, a “squiggly ‘Donald'” below the waist, was intended to mimic pubic hair. The letter reportedly concludes with the phrase, “Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
Trump’s denial has been met with skepticism by some, including Democratic lawmaker Pat Ryan, who tweeted, “I think we now no EXACTLY why Donald Trump refuses to release the Epstein files.”
Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance criticized The Wall Street Journal’s reporting, writing on X, “The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it. Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it?”
The report also noted that media mogul Rupert Murdoch, owner of News Corp and Fox News, was present with Trump at a recent event, highlighting the intersection of media influence and political figures in the ongoing discussions surrounding Epstein.
Epstein Row and Conspiracy Theories
The Epstein scandal has been a focal point for the far-right, with many Trump supporters clinging to theories of a secret client list and Epstein’s alleged murder as part of a cover-up. However, recent statements from the Justice Department and FBI have refuted these claims, stating there is no evidence of a client list or blackmail, and confirming Epstein’s suicide.
Adding another layer to the unfolding narrative, reports emerged on Thursday of the abrupt firing of Maurene Comey, a federal prosecutor who handled Epstein’s case and is the daughter of former FBI Director james Comey. Comey also prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate and the individual reportedly responsible for compiling the leather-bound book of letters for Epstein in 2003.
The potential release of grand jury testimony or evidence could shed further light on the intricate web of individuals connected to epstein, potentially impacting the ongoing public discourse and the veracity of various conspiracy theories.
