The illegal immigration debate intensified after the Boulder, Colorado, attack.

House Speaker mike Johnson ⁢lauded ⁤Musk’s “exceptional” work ⁤leading ⁣the department of Government Efficiency ‍(DOGE),highlighting his ability to identify wasteful spending within the government. Johnson noted Musk was helping to shine a light on⁣ waste that⁢ was previously unknowable.

Despite ⁤this, Johnson ⁢acknowledged that President Trump was “not delighted” with Musk’s criticism of the bill,⁣ after musk called the “pork-filled” bill a “nauseating abomination.” white ⁣House⁤ Press Secretary Karoline ⁤Leavitt previously stated that the president’s opinion⁤ remained unchanged despite Musk’s remarks.
