The incident took place outside a golf club in West Palm Beach, where Trump was present at the time. According to reports, the shooting happened around 2:00 pm.

Steven Cheung, director of communications for Donald Trump’s campaign, stated that “(Ex) President Trump is safe after the shooting that happened nearby. There are no more details at the moment.”

The American media outlet New York Post reported that the individuals involved in the shooting clashed with each other, and Trump was not the target of the attack.

The Secret Service, in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, is investigating the incident. They confirmed that the former president is safe.

CNN reported that one person has been arrested in relation to the shooting. According to reports, the Secret Service shot the suspect.
