How the $1,000 seed works
Each qualifying child is expected to receive a one-time $1,000 government contribution. The funds are invested in market-linked assets, likely low-cost, diversified investment options selected by program administrators. Families, relatives, or guardians may contribute additional funds, with annual contribution limits commonly reported.
