President Trump called the deaths of Minnesota State Rep.Melissa hortman and her husband, Mark, “horrific” after a shooting Saturday. State Sen. John A. Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were also shot in the incident but survived.
Authorities said officers responded to a call at the hoffmans’ home around 2 a.m. Saturday and found them wounded. Checking on the Hortmans at approximately 3:35 a.m., officers encountered the suspect and exchanged gunfire.
