In an interview with Reuters performed after an election rally in York, Pennsylvania, former President Trump stated, “The $7,500 tax credit score (about 10,010,000 received) for the acquisition of electrical automobiles is absurd,” and “We’d contemplating ending it.”

He continued, “Tax credit and tax incentives are usually not an excellent factor.”

Former President Trump additionally stated that when he returns to energy, he can appoint Tesla CEO Elon Musk to a cupboard or advisory function if he needs.
