Trump Questions Putin’s Intentions in Ukraine Peace Process

President Donald Trump has sharpened his criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing doubt about Putin’s commitment to genuine ceasefire talks. Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump voiced concerns that Putin might be deliberately stalling negotiations, especially in light of recent heavy Russian bombing in Ukraine.
While refraining from imposing sanctions to avoid disrupting potential negotiations, Trump warned that his position could shift.He stated he would soon determine if Putin was sincere or merely “tapping us along,” indicating a potential change in U.S. strategy depending on Russia’s actions.
