Trump Sues Murdoch Over WSJ Epstein Letter Report
Trump Team Reportedly Tried to Kill Report on Salacious Epstein Letter
Donald Trump’s team reportedly made significant efforts to suppress a report detailing a salacious letter and drawing allegedly linked to the former president and jeffrey Epstein. The Wall Street Journal reported that the letter, found in a 2003 album compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex offender, contained Trump’s name outlined by a drawing of a naked woman. The note also reportedly enclosed the text: “We have certain things in common,Jeffrey.”
Trump has vehemently denied authoring the letter or creating the drawing. He took to Truth Social to denounce the report, stating, “The Wall Street Journal printed a FAKE letter, supposedly to epstein. These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.”
Despite Trump’s assertion that he does not draw, he has a well-documented history of creating drawings for charitable events. He has even spoken about his inclination for doodling, writing in his 2010 book, Trump Never Give Up, “Sometimes being a giver will open you up to new talents. each year I donate an autographed doodle to the Doodle for Hunger auction at Tavern on the Green. It takes me a few minutes to draw something.… Art may not be my strong point, but the end result is help for people who need it.”
In a separate Truth Social post on Friday, Trump expressed his intention to pursue legal action, stating, “I look forward to getting Rupert Murdoch to testify in my lawsuit against him and his ‘pile of garbage’ newspaper, the WSJ. That will be an interesting experience!!!”
