US Presidential Debate: Harris Calls for Second Televised Debate with Trump
63% of Voters Believe Harris Performed Better in First Debate
MADRID, September 11. (EUROPE PRESS).- US Vice President Kamala Harris and her team are demanding a second televised debate with Republican candidate Donald Trump, after Harris emerged victorious from the first face-to-face encounter.
A survey released by CNN found that 63% of voters who watched the debate believe Harris performed better, compared to 37% who think Trump did better.
Among Democratic voters, enthusiasm is high, with 96% considering Harris the winner, while 69% of Republican voters believe Trump won, according to the same survey.

Harris’ campaign team has proposed a second debate in October, with the question being whether Trump will accept the challenge.
Trump had previously challenged Harris to three debates, but now seems more reluctant, stating that Democrats want another debate “because they lost.”

Several networks have offered to host another debate between Trump and Harris, but for now, the only confirmed debate is between their running mates, scheduled for October 1.
