President Trump​ is reportedly considering parting ways with his red Tesla, according to the Wall Street Journal. A White House official ⁢told ⁢the WSJ ⁤that the president may sell or give away the vehicle.

The Tesla‍ purchase was initially intended as a show of support for Elon‍ Musk’s company amid global protests and calls to boycott Tesla. The ⁤car has been seen parked outside the West Wing for weeks, CBS News reported.

Earlier,‍ Trump had mentioned spending “a lot of money” on his “gorgeous” Tesla, adding that his White house team enjoyed driving⁣ it around the grounds.
