President Donald Trump has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran, demanding that the country either reach a deal to end the current conflict or reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The warning, delivered via Truth Social on Saturday, April 4, 2026, threatens that all Hell will reign down on them
if the deadline is not met.
The Strait of Hormuz is a critical global shipping route used for the transport of liquefied natural gas and oil. Following joint U.S. And Israeli strikes on February 28, Iran restricted access through the waterway, permitting only Iranian vessels and a small number of other ships to pass. This restriction has led to a sharp increase in global oil prices.
Iranian Response and Military Status
Iran’s central military command has rejected the ultimatum. General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, representing the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, described the president’s threat as a helpless, nervous, unbalanced and stupid action
. Aliabadi further stated that the message implies the gates of hell will open for you
.
The ultimatum follows a prime-time address by President Trump in which he claimed the United States has beat and completely decimated Iran
both economically and militarily. He asserted that Iranian radar is 100% annihilated
and described the U.S. Military force as unstoppable
.
Conflict Timeline and Casualties
The current war began on February 28 with joint strikes conducted by the United States and Israel. Since then, the conflict has resulted in thousands of deaths and the disruption of key shipping routes. According to figures released by the Pentagon, 365 American service members have been injured during U.S. Operations against Iran.

The tension has escalated through a series of deadlines and postponed actions. On March 21, President Trump threatened to obliterate Iranian power plants, including the nation’s largest, if the Strait of Hormuz was not fully opened within 48 hours. However, on March 23, he postponed those strikes for five days, citing very good and productive conversations
with Iranian authorities. He subsequently pushed that deadline to April 6.
Missing U.S. Personnel
The latest ultimatum coincides with an active search for a missing U.S. Crew member. An F-15E fighter jet was shot down over Iranian territory on Friday, April 3, 2026. Washington and Tehran are currently working to locate the missing service member.
The combination of the missing personnel and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has increased the volatility of the confrontation. The U.S. Administration continues to press for a deal or the restoration of maritime traffic to stabilize global energy markets and fuel prices.
Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD!
