Trump’s Bold Promise: A New Era of Friendship with Russia and China on the Horizon
Donald Trump’s Peace Plan for Russia and China: A New Approach to the Ukraine Conflict
Former US President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to implement a peace plan with Russia and China, stating that he believes the US can “get along well” with both countries.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has responded to Trump’s statement, saying it’s too early to assess whether the US presidential candidate is ready to act as a mediator in resolving the Ukraine conflict.
JD Vance, the deputy chairman of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, has revealed more details about Trump’s plan to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict. According to Vance, Trump’s approach could include establishing a demilitarized zone in the parts of Ukraine currently under Russian control.
This approach marks a significant shift from the policy of President Joe Biden’s administration, which has focused on providing military and other support to Ukraine in its armed confrontation with Russia.
“I think it will happen like this. Mr. Trump will sit down and say to the Russians, the Ukrainians, the Europeans: We need to chart a course. What is a peaceful solution? The border between Russia and Ukraine could potentially become a demilitarized zone.”
Candidate Trump has stated that if elected, he will bring about a quick end to the Ukraine-Russia conflict. However, he has not clearly stated his plan to achieve this, perhaps out of concern that announcing a strategy too quickly would weaken his position in negotiations to resolve the issue.
