Trump’s Chilling Admission: ‘I’ve Been Warned of Assassination Twice in 3 Months, But I Won’t Back Down
Trump Opens Up About Assassination Attempts and Potential Cabinet Picks
Former US President Donald Trump recently sat down with investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson at Mar-a-Lago in Florida to discuss his experiences with two assassination attempts and potential cabinet picks.
When asked about his fear following the attempts on his life, Trump replied, “I can’t be afraid, because if you’re afraid, you can’t do your job. So I can’t be afraid. So far, I’ve had people defend me, and everybody thinks it’s not possible. Two (failed assassination attempts).”

Trump also discussed whether he would consider providing support to independent candidates Robert F. Kennedy Junior, Tulsi Gabbard, and Elon Musk, who have withdrawn from the race.
Kennedy Jr. endorsed Trump after dropping out of the independent race, and Trump praised him for his work on health and environmental issues. “JFK Jr. will do a great job on health and the environment,” Trump said.
When asked if he would consider giving Kennedy Jr. a job at the Department of Health and Human Services, Trump denied it, saying, “No. It doesn’t make any sense… I’m not making a deal with anyone because it’s not the right time to do it. It’s too early. But it’s almost that time, isn’t it?… So we’ll see what will happen?”
Trump also mentioned Tulsi Gabbard, a former congresswoman from Hawaii, who is also a Democrat and later became an independent. He praised her for having “common sense” and noted that she had helped him prepare for a debate with Vice President Harris.
As for billionaire Elon Musk, Trump said he might be willing to help solve some of the government’s problems. ”What he (Musk) will do, and this is what we talk about the most, is cost,” Trump said. “I’m telling you, Musk would walk in and say, ‘This is what you have to do. You have to do this.’ He was very interested in it. He felt that there was so much waste in this country. It’s right.”
