The second match saw Hugo Calderano face off against Patrick Franziska. Despite a speedy loss in the first set,Calderano,currently ranked third in the world,quickly turned the tide. He dominated the subsequent three sets, leaving Franziska struggling to respond. Calderano’s victory extended Ochsenhausen’s lead to 2-0.

He lauded the team’s “sovereign presentation” and “well-deserved victory,” adding, ”Even if we now have a little breather until the final, we look forward to it, and there we will throw everything back into the balance in order to celebrate a perfect season.”
Adding to the significance of the final is the impending departure of Hugo Calderano and simon Gauzy,both long-time members of the Ochsenhausen squad. Gauzy emphasized the importance of securing a title win in their final appearance with the club.
“It will be the last game for Hugo and me with this club, which we both owe so much, and obviously we want to say goodbye to the double,” Gauzy stated. “We will prepare very intensively for this.”
