Turkana Food Inc. has announced a recall of 352 cases of Floria‍ Dried Apricots due ⁣to undeclared ⁤sulfites. The recall, initiated ⁣after routine sampling by the New⁢ york State Department of Agriculture and Markets,​ affects 200-gram paper packages of the dried fruit.

Sulfites, commonly used as a food‌ preservative,‌ can ‌cause allergic reactions in some individuals. The FDA recall ⁣notice stated‌ the​ products lacked proper labeling.

The recalled dried apricots have a November 2026 expiration date, lot number “440090478-15-333,” and UPC label “2539560010.” Consumers ‌who purchased the ​affected product should not consume it and are advised⁣ to return it to the‌ place of purchase for a‌ full refund.
