News Centre – Turkish Interior Minister ali Yerlikaya made critically important statements regarding the latest developments in Syria and the disinformation activities carried out on social media.

Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that the developments in Syria and all movements on the border are being monitored meticulously and moment by moment by the relevant units of the state.
Yerlikaya said, “I woudl like to reiterate that we will not tolerate any attempt, any provocation, or any perception operation that targets the peace of our country.”
“Intense disinformation on social media”
The Minister of Interior pointed out that the false news deliberately spread, especially on social media, and the shares aimed at panicking the public are a clear disinformation activity. It was stated that the Cybercrime Department and the Security Department are continuing their work uninterruptedly regarding those who publish this kind of provocative content.
