Turkish Airlines Boosts US Flights to 170 Weekly from Istanbul in Summer 2025
Turkish Airlines Expands US Flight Schedule for Summer 2025
Turkish Airlines plans to operate a record 170 weekly flights from its Istanbul hub to various US destinations in the summer of 2025. This marks a 6% increase from the previous peak of 160 weekly flights in 2024. On average, the airline will provide 24 daily services to the US.
New Routes and Increased Frequencies
Since joining the Star Alliance in June 2024, Turkish Airlines has already increased flights to Denver to a daily service. Los Angeles will receive a record 17 weekly flights, matching the frequency for Chicago O’Hare, which will also have 17 weekly flights starting in July 2025. Orlando is expected to be added to the route map in the future.
Chicago and Los Angeles Flights
Chicago O’Hare has been part of Turkish Airlines’ network since 1997. Current records indicate 17 weekly flights from July 2025 until late October 2025. The new schedule includes multiple departures daily, enhancing connectivity.
Los Angeles will also see its frequency rise to 17 weekly flights. The schedule for flights from Istanbul to Los Angeles will include:
- Istanbul to Los Angeles: Daily flights at 08:00 and 14:00, with additional evening services three times weekly.
- Los Angeles to Istanbul: Daily and scheduled departures throughout the week.
Denver’s Growing Service
Despite beginning flights to Denver only in June 2024, Turkish Airlines has quickly upgraded to daily services for summer 2025. The flight schedule includes:
- Istanbul-Denver: 14:20-18:10
- Denver-Istanbul: 20:05-16:50 the next day
Positive Demand and Load Factors
Over the summer of 2024, Turkish Airlines filled 76% of seats on the Istanbul-Denver route, transporting 20,600 passengers. This illustrates strong demand, especially for a newly launched route. The airline’s extensive network via Istanbul is attracting passengers connecting to destinations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
With more than 280,000 passengers connecting to other flights in Istanbul, Turkish Airlines is solidifying its position as a key player in international air travel, particularly between Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
