Burcu Çetinkaya Makes History at Saudi Arabia Rally, Gains Social Media Attention
Rally driver Burcu Çetinkaya achieved a significant milestone, becoming the first Turkish female pilot to score points in the prestigious World Rally Championship (WRC). She secured a fourth-place finish in the WRC3 class at the challenging Saudi Arabia Rally on an undisclosed date in December 2025.

Piloting alongside co-driver Fabrizia Pons, Çetinkaya navigated the demanding desert terrain. Their performance was particularly noteworthy as they represented the only all-female team competing in the rally, inspiring manny with their participation and success.
