NVIDIA has added Halo: Campaign Evolved and seven other titles to the GeForce NOW cloud gaming library as of July 30, 2026. The update allows users to stream high-end PC games on low-spec hardware, such as Chromebooks, Macs, and Surface devices, by leveraging remote RTX-powered servers. According to the NVIDIA Blog, the service aims to convert standard student laptops into gaming setups without requiring hardware upgrades.

GeForce NOW Library Expansion and New Titles

The primary addition to the library is Halo: Campaign Evolved, a modernized remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign. According to NVIDIA, this version includes high-definition visuals, updated cinematics, refined gameplay, and three new missions featuring the Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson. The title is available on Steam and Xbox, and it joined Xbox Game Pass on July 28, 2026.

Alongside the Halo remake, NVIDIA added seven other games to the service during the week of July 29, 2026. The updated list includes:

• Mistfall Hunter (Steam, released July 29)
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (Ubisoft Connect, released July 30)
• Sudden Attack Zero Point (Steam, released July 30)
• The Ranchers (Steam, released July 30)
• Corsair Cove (Steam and Xbox/Game Pass, released July 31)
• Funnel Runners (Steam)
• Pathogenic (Steam)

Technical Specifications of the Ultimate Membership

The GeForce NOW Ultimate membership provides access to cloud servers with 5080-class performance. According to the NVIDIA Blog, this tier integrates NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), ray tracing, and NVIDIA Reflex technologies to reduce latency and increase frame rates on the user’s existing hardware.

The service supports streaming titles that users already own through digital storefronts, including Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox PC Game Pass. Because the games are hosted in the cloud, NVIDIA states that users do not need to manage local downloads, patches, or installations, and can utilize cloud saves to switch between different devices.

Hardware Versatility and User Application

NVIDIA highlighted the ability to use the service on non-gaming hardware through examples from content creators. A creator named Menguiny used the service to turn a MacBook Neo—typically used for video editing and general work—into a gaming machine. Similarly, a creator known as TechWithSeong reported using GeForce NOW Ultimate to stream PC games across a MacBook and various handheld devices to avoid using separate dedicated machines for work and play.

To lower the barrier for new users, NVIDIA offers a day pass that provides premium benefits without a monthly subscription. The company stated that the cost of a day pass can be applied toward the purchase of a full membership.
