Jeonbuk Headquarters Donates Recyclable Plastic Bottle Caps to Jeonju City Volunteer Center
The Jeonbuk Headquarters of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (Director Gyeong-ah Moon) donated approximately 800 recyclable plastic bottle caps to the Jeonju City Volunteer Center on the 30th.
This donation event prioritized eco-friendly values in accordance with Wooriwon’s ESG management policy and was held to inform the local community of the importance of the environment.
The Jeonbuk headquarters washed and sorted about 800 plastic bottle caps collected through the voluntary participation of executives and employees over a period of 10 months and donated them to the Jeonju Volunteer Center. The donated bottle caps will be upcycled into toothpaste squeezers and delivered to vulnerable groups in the region.
Moon Kyung-ah, head of the Jeonbuk headquarters, said, “Plastic bottle caps, which can be carelessly discarded, are upcycled into toothpaste squeezers, which has a special meaning. Going forward, the Jeonbuk headquarters will continue to practice various ESG management practices that save the environment and are socially valuable.”
