These reports, initially published by ‌Bloomberg on Friday, cited a lack of labor and materials as the cause for ⁢the potential delay. Following the report, Oracle shares fell 6.5%, closing at $185.98.

Oracle’s Response

An Oracle spokesperson stated via email to CNBC, “The selection of locations and the handover schedule were made in⁣ close cooperation with ⁣OpenAI, after the ​agreement was concluded, and we‍ approved it together.” The spokesperson further asserted ⁢that there have been no delays at any location and that all milestones are progressing as planned.
