Turnstile capped off their album release show in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Wednesday wiht a surprise appearance by Paramore’s Hayley Williams. The band, playing before 9,000 fans Under the K Bridge, welcomed Williams to perform ”Seein’ Stars” from their new album, Never Enough.
Williams, who also attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of the Never Enough visual album, took a prominent role on stage. She sang lead on a verse and joined frontman Brendan Yates on the chorus. Earlier, Williams expressed her enthusiasm on instagram, praising the band and their new visual album.
Never enough, the latest album from Turnstile, was produced by Yates and recorded in Baltimore and Los Angeles. It follows 2021’s GLOW ON, which received four Grammy nominations. The new album showcases turnstile’s signature blend of hardcore energy and melodic sensibility, further solidifying their place in the music scene.
During the Brooklyn show, Turnstile played six songs from Never Enough, including the live debut of “Look Out for Me.” The band is now traveling to Barcelona to perform at Primavera Sound.
