Turtle Beach has announced the Stealth Pro II, a flagship wireless gaming headset designed to succeed the original Stealth Pro. The new hardware introduces high-resolution audio capabilities and an updated multiplatform connectivity system intended to standardize audio performance across different gaming ecosystems.
The Stealth Pro II is certified by the Japan Audio Society (JAS) and supports Hi-Res wireless audio, capable of delivering 24-bit/96kHz resolution. This audio quality is facilitated through a low-latency 2.4 GHz USB connection, though this specific high-resolution functionality is limited to PC and other systems that support the standard.
Hardware Specifications and Audio Engineering
The headset is built around 60mm Eclipse Dual Drivers, which are designed to provide powerful bass and high levels of audio detail. To manage environmental noise, the device includes advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

For spatial positioning, the Stealth Pro II integrates Dolby Atmos, providing immersive 3D sound for both gaming and general entertainment. The physical construction features an anodized aluminum design with chrome accents and diamond-edged metal controls, paired with dual-layer memory foam cushions using athletic fabric.
The microphone system utilizes a 9mm microphone featuring AI noise reduction and vibration reduction to ensure voice clarity. It also includes a flip-to-mute function for quick control during gameplay.
CrossPlay 2.0 and Platform Compatibility
A central feature of the release is CrossPlay 2.0, a wireless multiplatform transmitter system. This technology allows users to switch wirelessly between up to four different audio sources at the touch of a button.
The product is being released in two primary configurations to address platform-specific requirements:
- Xbox Version: Optimized for Xbox Series X|S and PC, though it remains compatible with PlayStation and mobile devices, albeit in a less optimized capacity.
- PlayStation and PC Version: Designed specifically for PlayStation, PC, and mobile devices, but it does not include Xbox functionality.
Each unit includes one transmitter dock and one transmitter; additional transmitters must be purchased separately to utilize the full four-device switching capability of CrossPlay 2.0.
Power Management and Availability
To eliminate downtime associated with charging, the Stealth Pro II features a system of two swappable batteries. When used with the included charging dock, these batteries provide up to 80 hours of total playback time.
