The Real Identity of AI Wang Mingquan Revealed as Cai Sibei

This year’s TVB celebration highlighted its growth from the “Mount Wutai” era to TV City in Clear Water Bay, culminating in the expansion to TVB City in Tseung Kwan O. Using AI technology, the event recreated Wang Ming-tsun’s first day at TVB. Wang Ming-tsun started working at TVB at the age of 24 and has dedicated 53 years to the company. Actress Sisley Tsai, who was chosen to portray her, studied Wang Mingquan’s past performances to capture her tone and demeanor.

Cai Sibei Discusses Challenges of Playing Wang Mingquan

Cai Sibei admitted that portraying the character was challenging. She noted the extensive makeup process required to achieve the look. Sisley Tsai humorously mentioned that the production team helped her adjust her eyebrows and lips to better match Wang’s appearance. Sisley also faced the task of capturing the balance between Wang’s strong presence and gentle nature. Although Sisley has not yet had the chance to interview Wang Ming Tsuen about her first-day experiences, she looks forward to the opportunity.

Recreating Cheongsam Styles as Former Miss Hong Kong Contestants

Cai Sibei and Gao Haining joined a lineup of former Miss Hong Kong contestants to showcase cheongsam styles from their pageant years. The group included notable names like Chen Xiaohua, Gu Peiling, and Faye Wong. Cai Sibei wore a black cheongsam similar to the one worn by Anita Yuen, the 1990 Miss Hong Kong champion, highlighting her femininity.
