Twice’s Jeongyeon Opens Up About Her Relationship with Older Sister Gong Seung Yeon
Twice’s Jeongyeon recently shared a heartwarming and humorous story about her older sister, actress Gong Seung Yeon.
A video titled ‘Twice’s strongest combination gathered! Jihyo X Jeongyeon’s real friends’ revelations (+ story of fighting with older sister Gong Seung Yeon?!) EP.8′ was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Gambalsa’ on the 7th.
During the video, Jihyo mentioned that she was shy and timid when she was young, prompting Jeongyeon to tease her about her past behavior. Jeongyeon jokingly said, “Then why did you do a roundhouse kick to your younger sibling?”
Jihyo responded by saying, “Isn’t that how it’s always been? Didn’t you fight with Seungyeon unnie and have blood in your eyes?” Jeongyeon admitted to getting hit by her older sister a lot, even to this day. She then showed off her ‘real sister’ aura by saying, “Please broadcast this. Don’t let my unnie hit me.”
Jeongyeon debuted as a member of Twice in 2015 and was loved for songs such as “TT,” “Cheer Up,” and “Heart Shaker.” Gong Seung Yeon, who entered the entertainment industry through a CF in 2012, appeared in the movie “Handsome Guys,” which was released this past June.
