Two young American tourists died on May 14, 2026, following a motorcycle collision on State Road 115 in Sciacca, Italy.

The victims have been identified as Elisabeth Graham and Luke Alan Lionverger, both born in 2002. According to reporting from La Sicilia, the couple was on their honeymoon and had traveled through Venice and Palermo before heading toward the Agrigento area.

The accident occurred on a straight stretch of the SS115 at the San Giorgio junction. Graham and Lionverger were traveling on a large-displacement scooter, which was likely a rental vehicle, when it collided with a car.

The impact caused the car to overturn and land in a field adjacent to the state road. Emergency responders reported that the two riders died on impact due to the severity of their injuries.

The driver of the car sustained slight injuries and was rescued from the scene and taken for medical checks.

Emergency medical personnel from 118, firefighters, and traffic police responded to the scene. The collision resulted in the interruption of traffic on the SS115, which was diverted onto side roads for several hours to allow for the removal of vehicles and the conduct of investigations.
