Two people were injured on July 26, 2026, after an SUV left the roadway and struck pedestrians standing along Interstate 71 in Mifflin Township, according to reporting from FOX 8 News. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash, which involved three vehicles in total.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning in Richland County. According to FOX 8 News, the SUV veered off the road and hit two individuals who were positioned along the side of the interstate before the collision expanded to include other vehicles.
