“I feel like I am useful, to save lives, adn I come twice a year,” Clerc said. He added that he enjoys the social aspect of donating.“I am frequently enough the last to give; this is an possibility to meet friends and simply discuss life.”

Since his first donation, Jacques has become a regular donor, driven by the belief that each donation can save lives. In 2014, he succeeded Charlut as treasurer of the association. He now helps organize collections, including managing the refreshments offered to donors. “The team’s support is great,” jacques said, noting that he has encouraged his partner, Emmanuelle, and seven colleagues from the Departmental Council Road Center to donate.
The next blood drive is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9. Jacques plans to be there to assist with the event.
