The Touraine vallée de l’Indre (CCTVI) library network is proud to present the 3rd edition of the Festival du Livre jeunesse, a Youth book Festival, from March 2nd to 29th, 2025. This festival aims to ignite a passion for reading in young minds through a series of engaging activities, captivating shows, hands-on workshops, and inspiring author meet-and-greets.
Bréhémont’s festival Highlights on March 19th
Mark your calendars! Bréhémont will be a central location for the festival on Wednesday, March 19th. all activities are free and will take place in the seminar room. Two special events are scheduled for the day:
11:00 AM: “La Fée Parapluie” (The Umbrella Fairy) Show
At 11:00 AM, prepare to be enchanted by “La Fée Parapluie,” a show created and performed by Clémence Roy. This performance is designed to awaken children’s senses to the passage of time through playful situations and games. Roy draws inspiration from traditional tales and beloved children’s songs. The show is tailored for young audiences,accompanied by adults,and is suitable for children aged 2 and up. The performance lasts approximately forty minutes.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: “J’irai voir” (I’ll Go See) Creative Workshop
From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM,children can unleash their creativity at the ”J’irai voir” workshop,led by author and illustrator Emmanuelle Bastien. This workshop promises to transport children to a playful world where they can bring poetic stories and magical landscapes to life. Using surprising paper cutouts with her “magic scissors,” Bastien will guide participants in creating mountains,forests,dunes,and seascapes.
