Release time: September‍ 13, 2024.⁢ Source: Cangnan News Network

This year’s 13th typhoon, Bebejia, was formed in the northwest Pacific Ocean on the night of September 10 and strengthened into a severe tropical storm at 11:00 on the 11th. At ‍8:00 on the 12th, the maximum wind force was 10 on the ocean, 2,308⁤ kilometers southeast ⁤of Wenzhou. It is expected to enter the East China Sea around the 15th.

According⁣ to the forecast ‍of China Weather,⁤ Bebejia is expected to integrate the surrounding circulation and gradually‌ become ⁤stronger, reaching the strong typhoon‌ level. ⁣It⁤ will move northwestward and westward at a speed⁤ of 20-25 kilometers per hour, with its intensity gradually⁢ increasing. On the night of the 14th, it will pass through the Ryukyu Islands and move ⁤into the⁢ eastern waters of the East China Sea, approaching the coast of Zhejiang and Fujian, and will land on the coast of Zhejiang to⁤ northern ⁤Fujian in the early morning to morning of the 16th (typhoon level or strong typhoon level, level 13-14, 38-45 meters per second).

In the next few days, the weather in our ‍county will be mainly ‌cloudy, accompanied⁤ by scattered showers or thunderstorms. Please bring rain gear with you when traveling. As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, please pay ⁤attention to the latest typhoon dynamics,⁣ plan your itinerary reasonably, and⁢ be alert to the impact of heavy rainfall on tourism and travel during the Mid-Autumn⁣ Festival.

Bebejia is an autumn typhoon, which is easy ‍to erupt and has high intensity. At‌ present, some meteorological ⁣agencies‌ predict that it may reach the intensity of a strong ⁢typhoon of level 14. The provincial ‌meteorological department said that Bebejia is still developing, and its ⁢maximum intensity ⁤may reach the strong typhoon level‌ before and ‌after entering the East China Sea. Due to the ‌complex atmospheric circulation, although some meteorological agencies currently predict that Bebejia may land in the Jiangsu,‍ Zhejiang and Shanghai areas, there⁣ is still great⁢ uncertainty⁤ in its future movement path, and it is still ⁣unclear where it will land.
