Storm Yagi Relief Efforts: Vietnam Fatherland Front Announces Donations
On the evening of September 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front publicly announced a list of organizations and individuals supporting people to overcome the damage caused by storm Yagi, including many Vietnamese celebrities.
The Movement Committee – Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a meeting on the morning of September 13 to review information related to the mobilization of support to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi).
Since its launch, many agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals at home and abroad have donated through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. As of 5:00 p.m. on September 12, the total amount of donations had reached VND527.8 billion. Agencies and units have actively called for donations, and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is currently updating information on donations.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front has made public 12,028 pages of statements of information on donations, including both small and large transactions. This list provides details on the date of transfer, amount, and transaction content. The list of donations will continue to be updated and made public in the coming time.
