Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, announced the restructuring following consultations with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al nahyan.
A key component of the changes is the creation of a new Ministry of Foreign Trade.in addition, the current Ministry of Economy will be renamed the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, reflecting an expanded focus.
Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi will head the new Ministry of Foreign Trade, while Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri will lead the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.
