UEFA Champions League 2025 Draw… Dates, Broadcast Channels and Everything You Need to Know
Football fans are waiting for the 2025 Champions League draw, which will be held today, Thursday, in Monaco, France.
The group stage of the Champions League will witness the participation of 36 teams, for the first time, in a new system following the amendments made by the European Football Association (Uefa), after playing with 32 teams at this stage.
Today, the Champions League draw will be conducted using computers for the first time, and not manually, as usual in previous editions.
The 36 teams will be divided into 4 pots, each containing 9 teams, according to the UEFA club classification.
Two opponents will be selected for each team from each pot, meaning that each team will have 8 opponents, playing one match against them at home and one away.
This prevents the presence of two teams from the same country in a group, knowing that a team can meet against two teams from the same country, but at most.

The classification for clubs is as follows:
First Division: Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, RB Leipzig.
Second Division: Milan, Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Club Brugge, Shakhtar, Benfica, Juventus, Atalanta, Atletico Madrid.
Third Division: PSV Eindhoven, Sporting Lisbon, Feyenoord, Red Star, Lille, Dinamo Zagreb, Young Boys, Salzburg, Celtic.
Fourth Division: Aston Villa, Stuttgart, Monaco, Sparta Prague, Girona, Bologna, Slovan Bratislava, Storm Graz, Brest Stadium.
