Following the canceled press event, Conor McGregor announced he sustained an injury during training, forcing his withdrawal from UFC 303. Reports later revealed a broken pinkie toe as the cause. The Michael Chandler bout was meant to be McGregor’s return after a leg injury sustained against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
