Table of Contents
Get ready for an exciting night of UFC action! We’re diving deep into some of the most anticipated matchups, offering insights and predictions to help you navigate the betting landscape. From seasoned veterans to rising stars, this card is packed with potential fireworks. Let’s break down the key fights and see where the value lies.
Lightweight: Renato Moicano vs. Jalin Turner
Turner to win (-130). This is a classic striker versus grappler matchup, and while Moicano is a highly skilled submission artist, I’m leaning towards Turner in this one. Turner’s striking is powerful and precise, and he’s shown he can handle himself on the ground. Moicano, while dangerous on the mat, has shown some vulnerabilities in his striking defense. If Turner can keep this fight standing, I believe he has the edge.
Lightweight: Terrance McKinney vs. Esteban Ribovics
McKinney to win inside the distance. McKinney is an explosive fighter who frequently enough finishes his opponents early. He has a strong wrestling background and dangerous striking. Ribovics is a tough opponent, but McKinney’s speed and power are often too much for his opponents to handle. I expect McKinney to come out aggressively and secure a finish within the first two rounds.
Lightweight: Michael Johnson vs. Diego Ferreira
Over 1.5 rounds. this is a tough one to call, as both fighters have the ability to finish the fight. However, both Johnson and Ferreira have shown durability and the ability to go the distance. Johnson has been in many wars, and Ferreira is a seasoned veteran. I expect a competitive fight where both men have their moments, leading to the fight going over 1.5 rounds.
Lightweight: Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mateusz Gamrot
Tsarukyan to win (-115). This is a highly anticipated lightweight clash between two of the division’s top contenders. Tsarukyan is a powerful wrestler with excellent striking, while Gamrot is a well-rounded fighter with a strong grappling game. I believe Tsarukyan’s wrestling will be the deciding factor here.He has the ability to control Gamrot on the ground and land meaningful damage. While Gamrot is dangerous, Tsarukyan’s offensive wrestling is a step above.
Welterweight: Neil Magny vs. Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos
Dos Santos to win (-210). This line should be wider, as dos Santos has more paths to victory than Magny. On the feet, dos Santos is unpredictable, but he has a good ground game to fall back on. Simultaneously occurring, Magny only has a cardio advantage in his favor. Magny’s durability has declined over the years, and a matchup against dos Santos doesn’t bode well for him.As a near 2-to-1 favorite, I’m taking the dos Santos moneyline.
Featherweight: Austin Baka vs. John Yannis
Baka to win inside the distance. Yannis stepped up on short notice to make his UFC debut against Baka. This is a tough matchup, especially in your debut.Baka is a near 5-to-1 favorite despite taking a loss in his UFC debut in January. Look for Baka to utilize his wrestling and get this fight to the mat as quickly as possible and get it done inside the distance. Feel free to toss him in your parlay as well.
