UK, Here I Come: Fifth Time’s the Charm for My Dream Adventure
I’m Going to the UK in Spring 2024
After multiple cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be traveling to the UK in spring 2024. My partner, Kame-san, and I had previously planned to visit the UK in 2020, 2022, and 2023, but unfortunately, those plans were foiled by the pandemic.
Recently, I discovered that a large amount of Kame-san’s miles were about to expire, and I was thinking of giving up on traveling abroad. However, my friend Otani expressed interest in visiting the UK, and I saw an opportunity to make it happen.
After exploring options, I found that award tickets to the US were not available in business class. But then, I had an idea – why not suggest a trip to Sydney instead? To my surprise, Otani agreed, and I discovered that award tickets to Sydney were available on certain dates.
I quickly booked the award ticket for Kame-san and a paid ticket for myself. I was able to match the dates of the award ticket with the paid ticket, thanks to my training ticket issuance for SFC. Although I’ve run out of miles, I’m excited to have made this trip a reality.
And the best part? I’ve finally managed to book a ticket to London – fifth time’s a charm! I’m looking forward to exploring the city with Kame-san and making the most of our trip.
I hope to continue traveling in the future, and I’m already looking forward to my next adventure. In 2025, I plan to prioritize travel and make the most of my opportunities to explore new destinations.

This trip to the UK will likely be my last overseas adventure with Kame-san, who is no longer interested in traveling abroad. But I’m excited to have this opportunity to explore England with him and create lasting memories.
I’m committed to making travel a priority in the future, and I’m excited to see where my next adventure takes me.
