UK Adds Varicelle to Routine Childhood Vaccinations

Starting January 1, 2026, the United Kingdom will include the combined measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV) vaccine in its national immunization schedule for infants.

Children born on or after January 1,2025,will be offered two doses of the MMRV vaccine at 12 and 18 months of age. Those born between July 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, will also receive two doses.
