Former President of the United StatesTrumpReturn to the White House, should be one of the most worried countries in the worldUkraine; Trump has repeatedly criticized the US for increasing aid to Ukraine, evenRusso-Ukrainian WarBlame it on the President of UkraineZelenskySaying that he failed in his duty to prevent this war from happening and also saying that he will end the Russia-Ukraine war as soon as he comes to power. Ukraine is concerned that it may be forced to leave its territory and seek peace.

The United States and the European Union have provided substantial aid to Ukraine, and many European countries believe that the Russia-Ukraine war is an existential war regarding the security of the continent. Germany’s Kiel Institute pointed out that although European countries have given almost 130 billion US dollars in aid to Ukraine, the United States alone has given at least 90 billion US dollars in aid. If Trump stops aid to Ukraine, Ukraine cannot survive with EU support alone.

The Washington Post once reported that sources revealed that Trump had privately revealed that there was a way to end the Russia-Ukraine war by asking Ukraine to cede certain territories, but Russia and Ukraine doubted Trump’s statement. Trump changed his tune late in the campaign, however, saying he would broker a deal that would not allow Russia to make unilateral gains.

With Trump back in the White House, NATO, Japan, South Korea and other countries are facing pressure to increase military spending. Trump said he would encourage NATO countries that do not spend enough on defenseRussia“Do what you will with them.” product (GDP), and only three countries reached this goal ten years ago, but Trump once said, “I insist that every NATO country spend at least 3%.”
