Putin claims ‘All of ukraine’ as Russian strikes Intensify

Vladimir Putin has asserted that “all of Ukraine is ours,” marking ⁢a sharp escalation in rhetoric amid the protracted conflict. His statement came as⁣ Kyiv reeled from a series of deadly Russian strikes.

Overnight attacks on Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, resulted in at least 10 fatalities, including one child, according to Ukrainian officials. Waves of Russian drones ⁤and missiles ⁣struck residential areas, igniting fires and damaging infrastructure, including a metro station used ⁣as ‍a bomb shelter.

Rescue workers are ⁣continuing to search for survivors in the rubble of damaged buildings. At least 34 peopel, including four children, sustained injuries in the attacks on Kyiv, emergency services reported. A woman was killed⁢ and eight others wounded in ‍Bila Tserkva,southwest of Kyiv.

Meanwhile,estimates of Russian casualties continue to climb. The ‍British⁣ defense ministry indicated that over one million Russian soldiers have been killed⁣ or wounded as the start of the conflict. Similar figures⁢ emerged from a study ⁢by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, a U.S. think tank. The study estimated approximately 250,000⁤ Russian deaths and nearly 950,000 total casualties, including those wounded, according to The Guardian.

Ukrainian losses are reportedly between 60,000 and 100,000 deaths, wiht total⁢ casualties around 400,000.
