(Ulsan = Yonhap News) Reporter Heo Gwang-moo = The Animal Hygiene Test Laboratory of the Ulsan City Health and Environment Research Institute announced on the 26th that it was judged ‘suitable’ in all of the ‘disaster livestock disease diagnostic ability quality control evaluation’ conducted by the Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock Quarantine Headquarters.

The Animal Hygiene Test Laboratory was judged suitable by demonstrating its ability to quickly and accurately diagnose major livestock infectious diseases when suspected outbreaks occur.
An official from the Animal Hygiene Testing Laboratory said, “Through this evaluation, we have proven our capabilities as a livestock disease diagnostic agency,” and added, “We will continue to improve and maintain our diagnostic capabilities to prevent the spread of catastrophic livestock diseases.”
